Ballantine’s sought to celebrate their annual ‘Ballantine’s Day’ with a fresh approach that would resonate with a global audience. Tasked with this challenge, the Pinpoint team aimed to create an influencer strategy that broke away from the traditional Valentine’s Day norms. The goal was to encourage people to #DoWhatYouLove and #StayTrue to themselves, promoting a message of individuality and authenticity.

Pinpoint partnered with influencers in key regions, including Spain, Romania, Hungary, and South Africa, to spread the message of Ballantine’s Day. These influencers, each with a strong following in their respective regions, created content that encapsulated genres such as Food and Drink, Sports, Lifestyle, and Music.

Key actions included:
  • Influencer Selection: Carefully choosing 12 influencers who embodied the spirit of Ballantine’s and had a genuine connection with their audiences.
  • Content Collaboration: Working directly with these influencers to engineer content that was not only engaging but also perfectly aligned with their usual posts, ensuring authenticity.
  • Theme Integration: Each influencer tailored their content to the #DoWhatYouLove and #StayTrue themes, showcasing how they celebrate their passions and individuality.
