Amazon Games were ready to unveil King of Meat, a new action RPG co-op title at Gamescom 2024.
The challenge? Standing out at one of the industry’s busiest events with a brand-new IP.
Hands-on experience was essential to showcase the excitement and camaraderie of its cooperative gameplay, so wefocused on giving the media every opportunity to engage with the game directly.
To build anticipation, we organised a global media tour across key regions, including the UK, US, Germany, Poland, France, Spain, LATAM, and Brazil, offering hands-on gameplay sessions alongside developer interviews and presentations. At Gamescom, we teased the media with an “unannounced title” ahead of the reveal, then followed up with targeted outreach to ensure those who hadn’t attended the tour could still try the game. While the US tour was led by 47, we collaborated closely to ensure consistency across all regions.
